How a 14 team round robin schedule works

Each of the 14 teams plays the other 13 once: 14 × 13 ÷ 2 = 91 games. They fit into 13 rounds of 7 games, with every team playing once per round.

The schedule uses the circle method: seed 1 stays in place and the other teams rotate one position each round. That pairs every team with every other team exactly once and never asks a team to play twice in a round.
