Brackets by number of teams

Every size has its own page with a printable blank bracket, the full order of play and the number of games. Print it as it is, or open it in the app to fill it in.

How to make a tournament bracket

  1. Click Create a tournament, give it a name and choose single elimination, double elimination, round robin or Swiss.
  2. Paste your team or player names, one per line. The order you paste them in sets the seeds; use Shuffle for a random draw.
  3. The bracket is built straight away. If the number of teams is not a power of two (4, 8, 16, 32), the top seeds get byes.
  4. Click a match to enter the score. The winner moves on, and standings update. In double elimination the loser drops to the lower bracket.
  5. Print the bracket, export it as an image, CSV or PDF, or send players a spectator link.

Questions

Is Easy Bracket Maker free?

Yes. Every format, export and print option is free, with no account, no watermark and no limit on how many tournaments you make.

Where are my tournaments saved?

In your browser, on the device you made them on. Nothing is sent to a server. To move a tournament to another device, export a JSON backup and import it there.

How many teams can a bracket have?

Single elimination, double elimination and Swiss take up to 128 teams or players. Round robin takes up to 64.

Can I print a blank bracket?

Yes. Every size page above has a print button for the empty bracket, with seeds and game numbers filled in and blank lines for team names. Inside the app, Export gives you the bracket as SVG, PNG or a printable match sheet.

How do I share a bracket with players?

Click Share bracket to copy a spectator link. The link holds the bracket as it is when you copy it, so send a new link after you enter more scores. You can also embed the bracket on a website.

How are seeds and byes decided?

Teams are seeded in the order you list them, or at random if you shuffle. When the number of teams is not a power of two, the top seeds get byes into round two, and seeds are placed so that 1 and 2 can only meet in the final.
